If you continue the seafront a little bit past the marina, you will soon reach the small picturesque village of Castillo de la Duquesa. Here you will also find some good restaurants.I f you follow the boardwalk in the opposite direction of the apartment you will soon reach Casares, where there are two very popular chirunguitos (restaurants on the beach) La Sal and Bahia Beach.
For the golf enthusiast, this area is a good choice, there are a wide range of golf courses in the surrounding area. Of course, the area is also perfect for all types of water sports. To recommend is also to rent a car and get up in the mountains where you find small picturesque mountain villages and panoramic views. Estepona, which is only 10 minutes by car from Sabinillas, is a very nice Spanish town which is definitely worth a visit, especially the old town where all houses are decorated with geraniums in different colored pots.
